Healthcare Enterprise Group PLC (“HCEG”, AIM: HCEG) announces that the contract between its wholly owned subsidiary Ebiox Limited and Sultan Healthcare Inc. (“Sultan”) will transfer to Dentsply International Inc. (“Dentsply”, NYSE:XRAY), along with the purchase obligations, following completion of the purchase of Sultan by Dentsply, one of the largest professional dental products companies in the world.

 

The contract which HCEG announced in January 2007, is for the for the exclusive distribution of Ebiox product to the dental market in UK, continental Europe, Latin America, South America, Asia and Africa.  The agreement is for an initial term of five years and requires a minimum purchase of US$4.5 million (£2.33 million) of Ebiox products over that time.

 

The acquisition of Sultan by Dentsply which was announced to the New York Stock Exchange on 21 June 2007, is expected to close in July 2007.
