Healthcare Enterprise Group PLC ('HCEG', AIM: HCEG) announces that its wholly owned subsidiary, Ebiox Limited, has secured a supply agreement with Medtradex bvba and Simovision BV ('Medtradex') for the marketing and distribution of the Ebiox range of cleaning and disinfection products to the acute healthcare sector in the Benelux region.
The agreement which is for an initial term of two years will produce minimum sales of €320,000 renewable at the end of each term.
Medtradex is a leading distributor of ophthalmic implants and decontamination units, throughout the Benelux region.
In addition, as various Ebiox products are introduced, Medtradex will market these products in the Benelux region, and in their specified sector.
Marc Simonet, Chief Executive of Medtradex commented:
'We selected the advanced Ebiox product range due to the extensive efficacy profile, the complete suite of products and the compatibility with delicate ophthalmic devices. Medtradex have recruited additional resource to focus on the marketing and distribution of the Ebiox product range and expect to increase their penetration into the acute health centre market.'
